Important safety, regulatory, and warranty information that you should read before using your Mandoe Compact Media Player.
WARNING: HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
To avoid damaging your device, accessories or any connected devices, and to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage and other potential hazards, follow the precautions below:
Handle your Mandoe Compact Media Player with care. You may damage the device if you disassemble, drop, bend, burn, crush or puncture your device. Do not use your device if the case is cracked or broken. Don’t expose your Mandoe Compact Media Player to liquids, which can cause a short circuit and overheating. If it gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external heat source. Do not use your Mandoe Compact Media Player in the bathroom. Do not expose your Mandoe Compact Media Player to direct sunlight.
Mandoe Compact Media Player and its power adapter are designed to work best in ambient temperatures between 0° to 35° C (32° to 95°F), and should be stored between ambient temperatures of -20° and 60° C (-4° and 140° F). Do not expose the Mandoe Compact Media Player to temperatures above 60° C (140° F) as this may damage the product or pose a risk of fire.
Be sure the power adapter and device are well ventilated when in use. Using damaged cables or power adapters or using them when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the device or other property. Make sure the power adapter is plugged into a socket near your Mandoe Compact Media Player and is easily accessible. This product is intended for use with a certificate Limited Power Source (LPS) rated: 5 Volts DC, maximum 3 Amp. Only power your Mandoe Compact Media Player with the included power adapter and cable or compatible accessories.
Failure to use compatible accessories can cause fire, electrical shock, injury or damage to the device and the accessories.
Maintain a distance of 20cm (8 inches) from your body to be consistent with how the device is tested for compliance with RF exposure requirements.

Mandoe Media Hardware Limited Warranty
Mandoe Media (Mandoe) warrants the included hardware product against material defects for one year (or the minimum legal warranty period required in your region) from the date of the original retail purchase. Mandoe does not warrant against normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by accident or abuse.
To obtain service, call Mandoe or a Mandoe Authorized Service Provider. Available service options are dependent on the country in which the service is requested and may be restricted to the original country of sale. Call charges and international shipping charges may apply, depending on the location.
Subject to the full terms and detailed information on obtaining service available on this page. If you submit a valid claim under this warranty, Mandoe will either repair, replace, or refund the device at its own discretion. Warranty benefits are in addition to rights provided under local consumer laws. You may be required to furnish proof of purchase details when making a claim under this warranty, and this warranty does not affect or restart the trial period of any included software.
If you purchased your Device in New Zealand, the following applies to your device:
If you are entitled to the benefit of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. Where these guarantees operate and the problem with your Device cannot be fixed or is of “substantial character” within the meaning of the CGA, then you are entitled to a replacement or refund or compensation for any drop in the value of the product. In addition to these remedies, you may claim for any reasonably foreseeable loss (other than loss or damage through reduction of value of the goods) that results from the initial problem.
If the problem with your Device can be fixed, then you may either be entitled to have your Device repaired or replaced or, in certain circumstances, the purchase price of your Device refunded. In addition to any applicable guarantees, Mandoe Media offers this Limited Warranty.
The following applies to Devices purchased in Australia or New Zealand:
Mandoe Media warrants that the Device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use as described in the user guide for twelve months from the date of original purchase by you anywhere in Australia or New Zealand (“Limited Warranty”). This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia and New Zealand and will apply only if you have purchased your Device from Mandoe Media or its authorised resellers.
This Limited Warranty only applies to hardware components (and not to any software elements) of the Device and does not apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), neglect, disassembly, alterations and external causes, such as, but not limited to, water damage, exposure to sharp objects, exposure to excessive force, anomalies in the electrical current supplied to the device and extreme thermal or environmental conditions. This Limited Warranty does not guarantee that the use of the Device will be uninterrupted or error-free.
WARRANTY REMEDY FOR AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
If a defect arises and you return your Device during the 1-year Limited Warranty period, Mandoe Media will replace your Device with a new or refurbished Device functionally at least equivalent to yours. If Mandoe Media replaces the Device, the replaced Device will continue to be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period. All returned parts for which you have received a replacement will become the property of Mandoe Media. Nothing in this Limited Warranty will reduce or otherwise affect your statutory rights in relation to the Device.
To make a claim under the Limited Warranty, please contact Device support at 1800 119 100 (in Australia).
If you use this Limited Warranty, you will be responsible for the costs associated with returning the Device to Mandoe Media, unless you have made alternative arrangements with Mandoe Media. Mandoe Media will be responsible for the costs associated with sending to you the new or refurbished Device.
This Limited Warranty is given by Mandoe Media Pty Ltd, whose registered address is at 1901/31 Market St, Sydney, NSW, Australia, 2000 and it gives you benefits which are in addition to other rights and remedies which you are entitled to under the law.
